After rehoming a reactive dog, I had pretty much giving up ever being able to take my dog out without my arm being pulled out of its socket. But hooray we’re nearly there and we couldn’t have got there without Scott’s help. Scott’s patience and understanding of how humans relate to their dogs immediately impacted on my relationship with my dog. I have and wouldn’t hesitate to again recommend Scott to anyone.

Scott has been an absolute hero! I was struggling with my terrier and was at y wits end before Scott was recommended to me. His steady and calm approach, his knowledge, skill and patience with both myself and my dog, has had an enormous impact on my enjoyment of being a dog owner. Scott has followed up with an email outlining our session and a plan of action for us to move forward. He checks in regularly to see how we are doing and is great at suggesting tweaks to our training to help us along. I just couldn’t recommend Scott highly enough, he’s a star.

After having brought our first puppy into the family home, we asked Scott to help us with a few things and to point us in the right direction so that we could get the best out of our new addition. Scott was flexible and worked around us. He visited us at home and spent a few hours getting to know Alfie and us and really listened to what we had to say. He had an instant rapport with Alfie and Alfie responded really well to him. Scott was able to demonstrate some tips and techniques in helping us move forward with Alfie's training and really iron out a few of the niggling things we wanted to sort. Even to this day with Alfie now 7 months old, we use the same consistent approach. Scott definitely helped us in our training of Alfie and would 100% recommend and be happy to ask for his expertise again.

Without Scott's invaluable advice, help and assistance, we wouldn't have been able to find a way forward with our (now) wonderful dog.
After countless searches online for training tips, paying for online training courses, joining weekly local group training classes and YouTube tutorials, the only trainer we will ever even consider now, is Scott.
Our dog was out of control on the leash, Would lunge towards other dogs/people, his ability to heel was non-existent and would pay us no attention whatsoever.
Unbelievably, most of those things seemed to magically stop after the first couple of sessions (he's an absolute wizard!), we are still training our pup (18 months) with Scott and are now looking at doing recall training.

We have a lively 3 year old Boxer bitch, she is our 4th Boxer so were aware of how lively and bouncy they can be, however, this time around we have two young children and she thinks she is the 3rd child. Therefore, we reached out to Scott to see if he could help.
Scott came to visit us all as a family to get a feel of a day in the life and understand the issues we were facing with our dog.
We had a list of things we required some help and advice with, jumping, barking, lead pulling, food stealing. She is a real handful and was quick to learn with the methods that Scott taught us.
We were also given a full pack of training material, which we have found useful. Scott also gave other ideas, which we would have never thought to do, such as putting a lead on her when we have guests to stop jumping and overexcitement. We still use this method now as it really does work.
Highly recommend Scott. He is an excellent dog trainer and very knowledgeable, he was able to point out where we were rewarding unwanted behaviours and reinforcing them rather than the wanted behaviours. We have learnt so much from Scott and our dog has too.

Scotty the dog trainer came highly recommended to us by a friend when we were looking for help with our 1 year old jackahuahua. Our dog had become anxious around kids, biting/nipping, growling, barking at strangers passing by and destroying the post as it came through the door.
After spending time with Scott we were able to put into practice some techniques and training and have a better understanding of our dog's behaviour issues and he was able to highlight some areas where we were giving our pup some mixed signals especially around unwanted behaviours. Scott’s knowledge and guidance has been invaluable, our whole family got involved in the training and I think we definitely have a happier dog as a result of it.

Scott’s wealth of dog know-how was obvious from the start and during the time he spent getting to know us and our young dog. His advice and support have been invaluable in helping us do what’s best for our pup.

Thanks to Scott's knowledge and patience, after the 1st session he was able to help me with my loose lead technique (no easy task!). After following his advice there is a huge difference in my dog. I now have the strategies needed to work with my dog long term and look forward to my next session. I would highly recommend him.
